Last Monday the 20th, I took my news in, went by the drug store, went by the law office and got some papers, then by the garage to see what was going on.
Mark brought be some eggs.
Ellis stopped by last Tuesday evening on his way from work.
Last Tuesday morning I had 1.2” in my rain gage. Thursday I had .1”. Sunday I got .1” more but it kept me from decorating the graves at Mt. Tabor and Arno. It started raining when we got out of church and when I got home I sat in the car until it had almost stopped.
Violet stopped Wednesday and picked up her eggs.
Friday I went to town, talked with Lisa Engelhart about some relatives, visited Sally Prock, and stopped at the store and got flowers. Then I went to Fannon Cemetery and put flowers on Bob and Charlotte Dover and Landen Fleetwood’s graves. Then I went to Spring Creek Cemetery and put flowers on all the Blakeys’ graves: Clarence, two sisters and a niece. Then I headed for Ava to fill the car up with gas.
Saturday, Mark, Sherry, and Lora Kay came by and picked me up and Dustin, Kelsey, Bentlee, and Maddilynn followed us up to Nixa to Chad and Laura’s where they were giving Lucas and Emma their #1 Birthday Party.
Bro. Charles’ message Sunday came from Luke. His thought was ‘How will you be remembered?’
Wednesday morning the 29th I had .2” in my rain gage and then I got .95 more by 9 p.m.
Monday the 27th I called Gwen Hubbard and sang Happy Birthday to her.
I went to the Ava Cemetery at 11 and decorated the graves and stayed for the V.A. service. Then I went to Arno Cemetery, then Mt. Tabor after which I went home.
Tuesday, I made some bread. Wednesday, Mark brought me some eggs. I baked a cake for Trae and Kendra Shelton’s Anniversary for the next day. Kendra came by Thursday and picked up their card and cake.
Tom Williams and Hellen went to Jerry’s Whirlwinds that evening in Norwood. There were 14 present. Next meeting is August 29.
Friday, I took eggs to the Court House ladies. Then I stopped at City Hall and took pictures of the Blakey and Jake Rackley bricks. Then I went and got two Granny apples.
Nina came by that evening and we went to Ozark and had catfish. Kay stopped by Saturday and picked up her eggs.
I washed two loads of clothes.
Sunday was another nice day to go to church.
Bro. Charles’ message came from Genesis Chapters 37,39,41,42,45. His thought was forgiveness.
