Smallett – Margaret Rosseau

Sunday morning service was opened with banjo music and hymns. Prayer requests and prayer.

Trae and Kendra Shelton read some scripture from Psalms then Kendra led us in praise songs.

Brother Evans brought the message from Psalms 47:8, l Samuel 20:1-5,”Personality vs. God’s chosen, who is my father?”

Sunday evening was the welcome dinner for our new pastor and family. We enjoyed lots of great food, visiting and playing with the little ones.

Donna Lewis did an awesome job decorating for the season.

My grandson, Maeson Carter, had a wreck and got a concussion but, is doing ok. I am thankful for God’s protection of our loved ones. It sure is important to pray every day for all your loved ones and everyone else too. I went to Springfield on Thursday to help my sister do some sewing. We got quite a bit done then went out to eat.

On Friday, Delmar and I went to the Apple festival at Seymour. We had a good lunch at the Senior Center while there.

One day we visited with Keith and Donna Bannister, Shawn, Summer, Caidence and Conner Johnson.

One evening we visited Gary and Bevy Moore.

We are sorry to hear about Jack Breshears being in the hospital. Praying he is better soon.

It sure feels like Fall is in the air.

Until next week remember greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
