Opening our morning service with prayer was Joie Welker. In our Sunday School class, we studied about practicing Godly virtues. New life in Christ should bring different practice in our lives, hearts, and spirit.
Happy wishes went to Gary Henning and Joie Welker for birthdays. Remember our choir practice 6:30 Wednesday night with Bible study in Hebrews chapter 5 afterward at 7 p.m.
Gentry singers enjoyed singing at the nursing home Sunday. That’s always a blessing.
A group from Gentry attended the Saturday night singing at Happy Home Church.
Pastor Comers’ morning message was from Mark Chapter 5. Jesus always had people following him. This woman was healed when she touched the hem of his garment. Lord, help us to press through our problems and feel God’s power with our praise and worship.
In our evening service, our special song was by the group of Narvil Tetrick, Glenda Miller, Janice Young, Brenda Hampel and Joie Welker.
We had many testimonies about God’s love in our lives and how God brought us out and back to Him.
Pastor Comer’s evening message was also from Mark Chapter 5. Jesus saved the man with the many demons and God has given us the authority to overcome the demons of this world and in our lives.
On the second Sunday night of the month, we have a guest speaker and it will be Bro. John Comer.
