Black Oak – Donna Dodson

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Titus 2:12

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Proverbs 3:9-10, 13-20, 27-28 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.

Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offerings. Braden Lansdown, Colt Little, Anna Belle Johnson, Zoe Shull, and Liviya Wharton all did a great job collecting coins for Camp Piland.

Braden sang a special for us. Tiffanee Satterfield also sang a special. We had good testimonies.

Please pray with us for all the bereaved, unsaved, unspoken, military, law enforcement, country, and leaders, judges, lawyers, teachers, students, bus drivers, Lois Graham, Deanna Thomas, Betty Satterfield, Shirley Riley, Veda Bushong, Mike Parker, Becky, Norma Corpeling, Howard Mitchell, Honie Nokes, Dara Strong & family, Cody, Joe and John Stephens, Pete and Helen Workman, Wanda Goss’ friend, and each other.

Pastor David preached God’s message from Exodus 3:7-8. God sees our afflictions and provides help.

Sunday evening began with singing. Pastor David sang, then preached God’s message from Psalm 42:1-2 God is looking for a church who is thirsty and hungering for Him. He is looking for a people who call sin sin and truth truth. He is looking for a people who pray and strive to live right.

We had a great day in the Lord. May God bless you all.
