By 6 p.m. last Monday, I had .3 of an inch in my rain gage; .1 early last Tuesday morning and .2-1/2 by 3 p.m. –not a drop since.
James stopped by last Monday. Kay stopped and picked up my news. Mark stopped last Tuesday and picked up some scrap for his chicken. Tara stopped that evening and picked up Justin’s birthday card and cake. Justin forgot to stop the night before. Jame came by Wednesday with my crock pot and cake pan.
Tevin, Lakota and Adrian stopped Thursday and visited before going to Springfield to Adrian’s doctor appointment. On their way back they stopped and said Adrian weighed 10 lb 6 oz. now.
Carrie Fitzgerald came by this evening and brought my medication to me. Friday before noon, I went by the bank, the store for a phone card, & the drug store, before I went over to Bill Huffman’s funeral. While there I viewed Johnnie Miller’s body.
I got some groceries and I picked up a magazine for John Stephens and took it to him before I came on home.
Mark brought me eggs and Ellis and Michelle came and brought my cooler back. I missed all of them because I was gone. George and Violet came Saturday and got some of my back newspapers to find a write up. While here James and Tevin came by and got the baby bed that Ellis and Michelle got them for the baby shower, and I gave Lakota a rocker I had in my bedroom so she could rock Little Adrian. They have moved to Springfield now.
Sunday, Bro. Charles brought his message from Matthew 16 Ch. 13-21 verse. Main thought: “Opinion”. Jesus asked them who do you say I am? We should all know who Jesus is. He is the Son of God and we should tell others that don’t know.
Let’s keep praying for our sick folks because there will be some going in for surgery in the next couple of weeks.
My prayers and sympathy goes out to the Bill Huffman family, Johnnie Miller family, and all the others that have lost a loved one.
Let’s keep praying for our nation, leaders, men and women in the service and their families, and the ones in training.
