We began our services with our pledges and singing, and as usual, there were many to add to our long list of prayer concerns. We had a very good Sunday school lesson, speaking about the covenant, and the faithfulness of God, in His promises. We send wishes to Thomas to keep getting better!
Brother Michael read Luke 6:43-45, and some from Galatians 5. His title was rather strange, Be Fruity, however, as he went along he connected it to sowing good seed and expecting a crop in return.
Mt. Tabor Church is hosting a hot dog roast, with all the trimmings, Saturday evening, beginning in the 6:30 range. We invite anyone who would like to bring their instruments and play music, to do so. Come and join us and help us get acquainted with folks in the community.
Pat and Ronnie Lansdown were in Springfield where Pat got a good report from her doctor. On their way home they stopped in Mansfield and enjoyed having lunch with Paul Cox.
Pat visited one afternoon with sister, Jeanne Cox, and had a fun time playing with Jeanne’s youngest grandson, Lincoln Richards.
Jewell Elliott’s visitors this past week were James Elliott and Shaun, LeAnna, and children Thursday evening.
Nora and MaKayla Elliott spent Tuesday evening with Jewell while Shaun and LeAnna attended Logan’s Mighty Mite football game.
MaKayla Elliott celebrated her 14th birthday Saturday.
Dylan and Grant Clements visited Harold and Kay Hutchison, Sunday afternoon. Harold and Kay were in Springfield, Monday morning, seeing the doctor, where Harold got a good report.
