The Brown/Burden family reunion will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Yates Cemetery pavilion on County Road 14-341 east of Ava.
The reunion will begin around 11 a.m. and continue until everyone leaves.
There will be music, door prizes, a cemetery walk and a brief program honoring nine Civil War veterans as well as service men and women with devotion and prayer.
There will also be a trip to the cave if weather permits.
For those interested there will be a catered meal at 1 p.m. Bring a side dish or dessert if possible to complement the meal.
