New Manager For DOCO, Inc. Sheltered Workshop In Ava

The DOCO, Inc., Board of Directors welcomes Dawn Cox as the new manager for the workshop this week. Dawn and her family recently moved from the Rolla area, and are excited to make Ava their home. She and her husband, Mike, have two children that will be attending Ava High School this fall. The DOCO Board also extends best wishes to former manager Jim Brown in his retirement. The DOCO Board encourages the community to drop by and say “hello” and to show its support for Dawn and the sheltered workshop. You may see Dawn at local businesses or community events, as well. The 40th anniversary of the sheltered workshop arrives next year. Dawn and the other great employees at DOCO will be making plans for some fun events to celebrate this milestone. The DOCO Board is thankful for continued community support and encouragement as DoCo continues with its mission “to provide meaningful and productive employment opportunities for handicapped persons in the Douglas County area.”
