A one-vehicle crash at Thornfield in Ozark County last Thursday, June 8, resulted in injuries to the driver. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Brian K. Carter, 46, of Mansfield, was traveling south on Highway 95 when his 2001 Chevrolet Impala ran off the right side of the roadway at the junction of Route JJ, struck a concrete curb and overturned, coming to rest in the roadway. Carter was taken to Baxter County Regional Hospital, Mtn. Home, Ark., by Ozark County Ambulance, with moderate injuries. The 6:30 p.m. crash was investigated by Highway Patrol Cpl. D.J. Johnson. Carter was wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred, according to the Troop G report.
