Black Oak Church

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good work, and glorify your Father which is in heaven, Matthew 5:17.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday School after we sang. He read Jeremiah 3:12-18 for the devotion then dismissed us to class. Prayer by Pastor David.

Please help us pray for Wanda Goss and her family for the loss of their sweet baby, and all other bereaved, Betty Satterfield, Mike Parker, Norma Corpeling, Jamie Potter, Veda Bushong, Turly family, Gene McSwain, Judy McSwain, Camp Piland, Kenneth Prock, Missouri Association, Dana Brazeal, Janice Rawlings, John and Zamber Little, Colt, Wyatt, and Liviya, unspoken, unsaved, military, teachers, law enforcement, lawyers, judges, country and leaders, and each other.

Sister Molly taught the children in Sunday school about how Jesus is the light of the world. In children’s church we talked about Palm Sunday.

Brother Richard Potter took up the tithes and offerings.

Colt Little, Macee Breeding, Preston Adams, and Hunter Adams did the penny march for Camp Piland.

We sang Happy Birthday to Preston Adams, Macee Breeding, and Molly Potter. We wish them many more blesed birthdays.

We had very good testimonies.

Pastor David sang then preached God’s message from Mark 13.

Please join us for Bible Study on Wednesdays at six pm.

Sunday evening began with singing. Pastor David sang then preached God’s message from Psalm 108. As David turned everything and everyone over to God so should we. God will fight our battles and defeat our enemies. Let us all pray together for a spiritual change in our country. A very good message followed by altar service.

We are having communion and foot washing Friday evening at 6:00 pm. Sunday morning we will have an Easter Sunrise service at 7:00 am. Brother Richard Potter will bring the message. We will then have breakfast, Sunday school, worship, and egg hunt for the children. There will be no service Sunday evening.

May God bles you all this week.
