“Because thy loving – kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee,” Psalm 63:3.
Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Matthew 28:16-20 for the devotion then dismissed us to class. Prayer was given by Sister Mabel Everett.
Please pray with us for Wanda Goss and family, Macee, Violet, Wyatt, Liviya, John, Zamber, Colt, Turley family, Gene and Lorene Robertson, Ralph, people traveling, country and leaders, law enforcement, teachers, military, unsaved, unspoken, all sick and bereaved and each other.
Brother Richard Potter took up the tithes and offerings.
Colt Little, Zoe Shull, Hunter Adams and Preston Adams did the penny mach for Camp Piland.
We had good testimonies in both services.
Pastor David sang then preached God’s message from Luke 5:1-11. It was a very good message. Brother Pete said it was good old fashioned preaching. God is so good.
I believe there is a place of worship for each one of us. We, at Black Oak are still traditional. If you are sitting in a church you don’t feel comfortable in, please, find the one you do. Also, if you have God-given talent and are not being used, find the place where God can use you. Our sweet piano player is ill and we would love for someone to help us. Please pray for God’s guidance.
Bible study is Wednesday evenings at six.
Sunday evening was our singing night. The sweet Holy Spirit blessed us through songs and testimonies.
Our Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner is Sunday, December 6th after morning worship.
