George and Violet came by last Tuesday and picked up their eggs, then I took my news in and Kay’s eggs and a dozen to Kelli.

Mark Weston stopped by after school Wednesday and said he had been sick the first part of the week.

Ellis came by that evening with some eggs. I washed two loads of clothes then I took Darlane her eggs and then went by Martin Hathcock’s and visited with him.

Nina came by later on that day.

Monica Reemes came up Friday evening with some pears and she had called Ellis to see if he and Michelle wanted to go out and eat some where and we all went to Hucklebuck’s Smoke and Grill and ate. That was the first time I was ever there. Guess what? They have peanuts to eat while you wait for your meal and I couldn’t eat any of them.

Violet Blakey stopped by Saturday morning and picked up her eggs. I went to town later and got some groceries that were on sale and then I went by Mary Martha Williams, but she wasn’t home.

It was good to be back in church. Bro. Raymond’s message came from Psalm 116 about loving the Lord and calling on the Lord. The night message was from II Timothy, chapter four. Bro. Raymond asked us if we had a special older preacher in our life and then he talked about the ones in the Bible like Nathan, John the Baptist, Noah, Elijah and others.

I talked with Bonnie Phipps and she said Debbie Cederlind came down Friday evening and spent the weekend with her.

Courtnie Vigessa, Wylie, Weslie and Wayden came down Sunday morning and spent the day with Bonnie and Debbie.

Let’s keep our sick folks in our prayers. My prayers and sympathy go out to the LaVerne Halstead families and all the others that have lost a loved one.

Let’s keep our nation, leaders, men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
