Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports were taken. Sis. Elsie Combs led in prayer. Jack read Proverbs 11:1-10 for our devotion. There is no hope for those that don’t and won’t repent. After Sunday school offering was received.
Praise and Worship began with testimonies from Jeff Shipley, Jim Lafferty, Hi Lambeth, Janice Lafferty and Melba Austin. We continued praising the Lord with congregational singing. Melba Austin did a special. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning. His scripture was Job 37:21-24, II Corinthians 4:13-18, Ezra 9:5-9. We cannot understand all that God has put in His word, but we can understand how to repent and make heaven our home. God shines His light so we can see how to get life eternal. Our land is in a terrible state. Through a little remnant of God’s people we can shine a light so others can see and turn to the Lord. We closed in special prayer for our country.
Sunday evening service began with praising the Lord in song. Bro. Jim Lafferty welcomed everyone. Praise reports and prayer requests were taken. Bro. Jack Essary led in prayer. We have many concerns. We are especially concerned about our country. Help us pray. We need revival in our land. Bro. Bill spoke from Isaiah 56:3-7. We are strangers to a lot of people. Some we might know their face, but they don’t know ours. If you have asked Jesus into your heart, you know Him, and He knows you. We can come to His house of prayer and get to know Him better. The more we pray the more pleasing we are to the Father. Anyone can come to the house of prayer. It was a good day in the Lord. Come worship with us, you are always welcome.
