Black Oak Church

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage,” Galations 5:1.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Proverbs 11:1-10 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.

Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offering.

Zoe Shull, Liviya Wharton, and Colt Little took up the penny march for Camp Piland.

The children all passed out flags to everyone in attendance.

Please help us pray for Lois Graham, Marvin Graham, Wyatt and Liviya Wharton, Jerid Wharton, the Turley family, John Little, Diana Davis, little Zachariah, Wanda Goss and family, all sick, bereaved, unsaved, unspoken, military, country and leaders, law enforcement, Camp Piland and each other.

Sister Wanda read a poem for us.

Pastor David sang then preached God’s message.

Sunday evening began with singing. Sister Ella Faye Mitchell sang a special for us. Pastor David sang then preached God’s message from Colossians 2:1-8. Stay close to God, know his word, and beware of false teachers. We had good testimonies in both services. Please join us for Bible Study on Wednesdays at six. Happy Birthday blessings this month to our country, Dailyn Stanifer, Zach Mendel, Betty Satterfield and Fanya Scott. May God bless you all this week.
