Our morning service opened with Bro. Dee greeting all with a good morning. We had many prayer requests for loved ones, friends, for the sick and lost. When we pray it is a blessing to all of us. Prayer is very important to our lives on a daily basis. We need to remember to thank God for answering our prayers also. We did our pledges to the flags and to the Bible. We sang for Jesus and gave our gifts for Sunday school with Bro. Gregg blessing them.
Bro. Bob began Sunday school with a good morning to all. He used Acts 23:1-24. It was a good lesson. We had some comments and discussion.
We sang Happy Birthday to our pastor, Bro. Gregg. We presented him with a small gift and had ice cream and cake following the morning service. Sister Patsy made the birthday cake. She decorated it to look like a shirt and tie. She is a great cake decorator as I am sure that most of you already know. We appreciate it, Sister Patsy.
The young ones gathered the Coins For Christ and it was time to sing for the Lord. The choir was in good voice. The good old hymns are such a blessing. We gave our gifts to the Lord with Bro. Gregg blessing them. We had specials from Sister Peggy an Sister Sharron.
Bro. Gregg opened the morning service with prayer. He used II Kings 13:10-21. It was a great lesson. We closed the service with a hymn an prayer by Bro. Bob.
We began the evening service with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was by Sister Carla. It was then time to sing and we had specials from Sister Juanita and Sister Peggy.
Bro. Gregg opened the service with prayer and used II Kings 13:20-22. It was a continuance from the morning service. It was a very good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and dismissed with prayer by Bro. Dee.
Bro. Gregg and Sister Carla are taking a few days off for some quiet time so Bro. Doug Irwin will be our speaker Sunday, Nov. 9th. Come and be blessed.
Have a great week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
