Caney Church

What beautiful weather God has blessed us with. Bro. Jack welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports were received. Sis. Elsie Combs led us in prayer. Jack read Gal. 1:11-19 for our devotion.

After a good Sunday school lesson Happy Birthday was sung to Maddie Shipley. Maddie Shipley sang while offering was taken.

Praise and Worship began with testimonies from Jeff Shipley, Janice Lafferty and Melba Austin. We continued praising the Lord in songs. Special music by Melissa Harmon. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from Romans 10:1-3. His thought, “my heart’s desire is for all to be saved.” Are we zealous in witnessing for Christ? Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

November 2 the Hunsaker family will sing here at Caney at 6 p.m. Refreshments afterwards. Come be with us.

Sunday evening Caney came together singing praises. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone. We have many concerns, but God is faithful. Sis. Doris Lambeth led in prayers.

Praise and Worship began with testimonies from Bill Austin, Hi Lambeth, Jim Lafferty and Melba Austin. Bro. Jack Essary spoke for us in the evening services. His message was from Psalms 89:47-48, Hosea 10:12-13 and Romans 13:11. Just like the wind we can see the effects of time. We can’t touch it, hold it or stop it. We don’t have much time here to live even if we live to be 100. It is a short time. One thing’s for sure we better make time for Christ. It is time to seek the Lord, choose Him today. We are older now than we’ve ever been, younger than we will ever be again. It was a great message today in the house of the Lord.

Come worship with us, you are always welcome.
