A good morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend and stayed cool in all the heat.
Our hats are off to everyone who has brought their produce in for us to share. My God bless you and may your crops be plentiful.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.
Our sympathy to all who have lost a loved one. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
We send greetings to everyone who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.
Visitors of Miss Lois Graham this past week have been her sister-in-law, Marjorie Graham, on Tuesday and they had a nice visit, as well as, Norma Jones who brought her the mail.
Our activities the past week: On Friday the 15th, three very nice ladies from Ava Drug came and had an old fashioned ice cream social and gave a talk about the upcoming shots for the residents. There was 23 that attended. Connie Burris from Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center came and had our game day with 7 attending. She does a great job of keeping us on our toes. Our hats are off to her. We always look forward to her being here with her activities and her jokes.
No other news turned in so not much to write about and Norma did not have much of an adventure this past week, just church on Sunday and Wednesday night and the theatre on Thursday night, Ava Place on Wednesday morning plus our activities in the village. I did enjoy the music at the Red Fox Ranch on Sunday afternoon. Have a great week and try to stay cool as the temperatures are to be in the upper 90’s for the rest of the week. Be sure to check on your neighbors and the shut-ins to make sure all is okay. And remember Jesus loves you.
