A good morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope every one had a safe and great weekend.
No news last week as I “Norma” had eye surgery on Tuesday the 22nd and couldn’t see very good. I will try to catch up this week.
On Thursday the 17th we had our monthly dinner with 15 residents signing the guest book along with five guests attending. We also want to give our appreciation to every one who has brought vegetables for us to share. May God bless you and your crops be fruitful.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Evelyn Witchey visited Miss Lois on Saturday evening. We had a good visit. Also Norma stopped by several times with my mail.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.
Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow.
Our thoughts are with you. We send greetings to everyone who has a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.
Well, another month almost gone and times keeps flying by and I can’t seem to catch up no matter how hard I try. Will soon be time to think of the starting of school. It will be here before most of us are ready. There is so much to be done before then.
No other news turned in.
Norma’s visitors have been Arlen “Bud”, Ralissa and Lane on Thursday as he came from the doctor in Springfield. On Tuesday the 22nd, I “Norma” drove to the farm and Naomi took me to Springfield for my eye surgery then drove me back to Ava. Amy June and Jacob Watkins came and took Norma back to the farm.
I appreciate all who helped me while I was having my eyes done and doing the driving for me when I couldn’t, again, my appreciation. Peggy Green stopped by for a while on Monday evening to check on me as she was in town.
Until next week, love your neighbor as yourself and he will love you too. Jesus loves you.
