This past Sunday was one that makes us all tend to say, “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” We certainly were blessed with a most beautiful day.
After Sunday school our morning message was taken from Psalm 147, and we studied how the Lord heals our broken heart and binds up our wounds. His great comfort through our times of sorrow and grief. How fortunate indeed are we to be loved so deeply by our merciful and gracious Lord.
And at the same time the grand tragedy of those who wander through life with no knowledge of Christ, and no hope of salvation. It is really a comparison of triumph and tragedy.
Then in our evening worship service we explored the gems of scripture contained in Psalm 46. The beginning of worship and praise in the Psalm and then the evidence of God’s generous protection and care of his people. It is no less true today that we should praise and worship him for his gracious provision and presence in our lives.
We hope you will come and join us in worship, any time you can you will be most welcome, and we will try to make you feel at home. May our heavenly Father richly bless you, is our prayer.
