Services began with singing “Amazing Grace”, followed by prayer requests. We always have a long list of those who are in need. We appreciate all who lift their names up to the Lord.
Brother Ric read Matthew 4:11, with some of the thoughts being, thou shalt not tempt the Lord, thy God, and man shall not live by bread alone.
We will have Brother Raymond Haden as our speaker this week, plus, he and Naida always have good music. Please come and be with us.
Jr. Camp Piland is going on Thursday through Saturday, we will take food Friday.
Martin Hathcock was under the weather on the weekend, but was doing better, Monday. Kim, Jennifer and her three children visited. Ronda prepared lunch for Martin and invited Albert Elliott to join them, one day.
Harold and Kay Hutchison were in Springfield, Monday, for two doctor appointments. Between visits, they dropped by to see his sister, Lucille DeBerry.
Don Beason and Greg Chamberlain spent a few minutes visiting with Harold and Kay Hutchison, while they were doing some work on the flagpole in the cemetery.
Imogene Madewell visited the Hutchisons for a short time, Sunday evening. Kim, Danny and Morgan came by Saturday evening, also.
Those visiting with Tom and Jewell Elliott recently were Carla Hearod, Albert Elliott, James Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Elliott, MaKayla and Logan.
