Happy Home Church

Our morning service opened with Bro. Dee greeting all with a great good morning. He asked for prayer requests and there were many. Sister Shirley led in prayer. We had the pledges to the flags and to the Bible. We sang for Jesus and gave our gifts for Sunday school. Bro. Gregg blessed the gifts.

Sunday school began with Bro. Bob greeting all. He brought the lesson from Acts 10:24-35 and 44-48. It was a great lesson with class comments and discussion.

We sang Happy Birthday to Dominic and Bro. Bob. The young ones gathered the Coins For Christ and it was time to sign for the Lord. The choir was in good voice. We sang the good old hymns and enjoyed the messages in them. We gave our gifts to the Lord with Bro. Gregg blessing them. We enjoyed Sister Patsy at the piano as we always do. She is a real blessing to us. We had a special from Sister Margaret Rosseau who was visiting with us. We had testimonies.

Bro. Gregg opened the morning service with a question for us to think about. Does faith have boundaries? He began with prayer and used Acts 20:20-21 and Hebrews 1:1-14 to bring us a message from the Lord. It was a good message. We closed with a song and altar prayer. We were dismissed by Bro. JJ with a blessing on the food that we were about to enjoy.

This was a great day at Happy Home Church as we were going to witness a real blessing. After our dinner and fellowship we gathered in the sanctuary to witness the charging of a deacon for our church. Bro. Toby Sanders came to do the service along with several other preachers and church members. His message was about what is expected of a deacon. He used Acts 6:5-8 and I Timothy 3:8-13. What a great job. Bro. Dee Gustin is now our official deacon. We are so very proud of Bro. Dee, his wife, Stacy, and son, Dominic, They had been a real asset to our church, but it takes God and all of us to make the church work well. We are blessed here at Happy Home.

Our evening service opened with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests with Bro. Gregg leading in prayer. We sang for the Lord and had specials from Sister Peggy, Sister Dianne and little Kyler Holiday. Bro. Gregg led in prayer and turned the evening service over to Bro. Cory Holiday which was our guest speaker. He used Ephesians 5 for his message. It was a good message. We closed with a song and altar prayer. Bro. Bob dismissed us in prayer. What a great day we had in the Lord.

Our revival dates have been changed to August 24th at 6:00 p.m. All other nights will be starting at 7:00 p.m. for the remaining nights. We will stop when God says it is enough.

Have a great week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
