Wednesday evening service began with singing.
Wyatt Isaacs a youngster in our church took the service. Bro. Hi Lambeth led in prayer. We had many concerns that we took before the Lord.
Wyatt read Daniel 3. He told of the faith of God’s three men. How they were thrown in the furnace, how they came out alive because of God’s protection, not even the odor of smoke was on these men. He is a great God.
We had a good discussion. How much faith do we have? was the question of the night.
We would love to have a bigger number, but we know the world gets in the way.
Sunday school opened with singing praises to the Lord. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports were given. God is so good to hear and answer. Sis. Lila Roberts led us in prayer. Jack read Jude 17-25 for our devotionn.
Praise and Worship began with testimonies from Jenna Mills, Jeff Shipley, Janice Lafferty and Bill Austin. We proceeded with congregational singing. Melba Austin presented special music. Pastor Bill spoke this morning from Matthew 27:17-18, I Corinthians 1:18, II Corinthians 5:14-15. Whom will you choose Barabbas or Jesus Christ? Money or Christ? The sword or Christ? The choice is yours. Make it today. Repent and serve the Lord Jesus. Choose right over wrong. Jesus died for our sins so we could be in heaven with him. It’s up to you, make your choice. Ask Jesus to come into your heart.
Sunday evening service began once again with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley asked for prayer requests and praise reports to start service. Bro. Jack Essary led us in prayer. We had testimonies from Hi Lambeth and Melba Austin.
Pastor Bill Austin brought our evening message. His scripture was Rev. 21:1-6, Isaiah 57:19-21 and Proverbs 4:14-16.
A beautiful word picture of the peace of heaven. There is trouble and trials on every hand that causes waves and troubled seas in our lives and churches, but God has promised us peace – no more pain, tears or death. What a wonderful love He has for us. He has shown us more love than any other. It was a wonderful message from the throne.
Come worship with us.
