Black Oak Church

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever, Amen.

Brother Roy opened Sunday school after we sang. He read II Corinthians 5:16-21 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.

Reece Goforth read the children’s lesson to them then asked them questions. They know a lot more than we sometimes think they do. They are also listening so we need to be mindful of what they hear. The lesson was on the Ten Commandments.

Please pray for Wilma Sanders, Betty Satterfield and family, Dana Brazeal, Lindsay Ratzliff, Melvin Bushong, Turley family, unsaved, unspoken, all bereaved, military, country and leaders, law enforcement, and each other.

Pastor David sang then preached God’s good message from Luke 18:1.

We had good testimonies.

Quin and Macee Breeding did the penny march for Camp Piland.

Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offering.

Sunday evening was our singing night. We were truly blessed by the singing and testimonies.

It was great to have Sister Evelyn Adams in church. Please continue to pray for her healing.

May God bless you all this week.
