Don't Miss

I took my news and eggs in last Monday and later on that day George and Violet came by and brought some tomatoes and cucumbers to take up to Vernal and Ellen when I went the next day and then they picked up their eggs.

I had a dr. appt. last Tuesday and when I got out of the office I went by and saw Winnie Stafford and took her a Blakey address book. Then I went over to Wal-Mart and saw my granddaughter, Brittany Kutz. Afterwards I headed for Springfield and went by and saw Joann Bean and daughter, Julie, before going on over to Vernal and Ellen’s to spend the night.

Wednesday at noon Monica Reemes came and took me to my eye doctor and then we came back to Vernal’s and when Ellen got home we went to the Golden Corral for supper. I stayed all night with Vernal and Ellen and came home Thursday.

I got to Ava a little before noon and stopped by Cooper parking lot and visited with my grandson, Chase Blakey, then went to the drug store and picked up my medicine before going on home.

I made potato salad for the Piland Youth Camp that night.

Friday morning Nina Carter brought her refried bean dish and I met Kay Hutchison at Town and County and she gave me a watermelon, apples, bananas and a cake someone had baked and I took them all with my food down to the youth camp. There was 19 in the youth group.

I took Darlene Lister her eggs when I got back in town then I went by Jo Stephens’ garage sale.

Saturday George and Violet brought Ellis some tomatoes so he came Sunday and picked them up to make juice out of them. James, Kristie and Lakota dropped by late Sunday night and picked up Kristie’s birthday card and cake. Today is her birthday.

Let’s keep those prayers going for our sick folks and the ones that are getting over their operations and others that are having treatments.

My prayers and sympathy go out to the Mae Cox family and all the others who have lost a loved one.

Mae’s funeral will be this Tuesday at one at Mt. Tabor Church, so it will be over before you get this paper.

Let’s keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
