Opening our morning service with prayer and singing was Doug Miller. We studied in Sunday school class about overcoming temptation, no matter how long we have served the Lord, none of us is immune to temptation, but we do not have to face them alone for we have a faithful God to help us.

Happy Birthday wishes went out to Brenda Hampel.

Special song was by the men’s quartet, Wendell Deo, Keith Lafferty, Narvil Tetrick and Rod Welker.

Pastor Lafferty’s morning message was from I Corinthians  chapter one. Our God is alive and always makes a way for us where we can have life and have it more abundantly. The only thing that unifies us all together in church is love and faith in Jesus.

In our Sunday night service, our special songs were by Ronnie and Sue Thomas, Keith and Regina Lafferty and Bob Huskey and Charlotte Reich accompanied by Delores Young and her strum instrument.

Remember the Fourth Sunday Singing, July 27th at Faith Rock Church at 2 p.m.

Pastor’s evening message was from Galations chapter one. Jesus gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God, our Father.
