Saturday several plowed their gardens.  The rains have slowed up hay season, but everyone is afraid to complain.

Saturday I visited my brother and wife, Junior and Betty Halcomb.  David, their son, came to plow their garden.

I stopped by my sister’s, Sybil Harvill’s.  She seems to be doing pretty good.

Saturday James and me visited Janie Morrison and we met Dillon and talked to him.

I sure miss talking to Iona Maggard.  She called Janie Morrison and was doing fine.

I do hope all you fathers had a great day.  The highlight at Garrison Church was when Scott and Melissa Payne brought in baby Blayze.  He is a treasure, the cutest little fellow you ever saw.  I hope you told your Dad how much he means to you.

Friday George and Janie Morrison attended the MFA Appreciation Day at Ozark and had lunch.  Their grandson, Calab Morrison is employed there.  George was one of the lucky winners on a drawing they had.

Sunday night, Gary Mitchell passed away.  He leaves behind nine children, what a sad Father’s Day.  Jerry Mitchell and Larry Mitchell attended Garrison Church.  Jerry is one of our deacons.  They have a sister, Doris Braden.  Sympathy sent to the family.

Sunday at Garrison, little Miss Jena Guerin sang a special and Sunday night Melany Stevens sang.  We had good Sunday night services.  Pastor, James Orick preached.  Come help us out, we have plenty of seating room.

Bob and Lou Rains and family went to Springfield Sunday for a Father’s Day dinner together.

Danny and Brenda Herd and family and a friend, went to Branson Friday until Sunday for a family get together.

John and Connie Siler had a dinner for their fathers, Junior and Betty Halcomb and Bob Siler, Siler’s children, Amanda and family, Brad and family and Connie’s brother, David.

We sat with the Kit Grimes family for his surgery.  Remember him in your prayers.

Gary Mitchell passed away Sunday night.  James and me visited Jerry and Sharon Mitchell, Scott and Missy Newell and Jack and Cindy Smith and stopped and visited Rev. Jon and Mary Mitchell, Bob and Blair Mitchell and girls and visited Gordon and Zelda Jones and Tammy Payne stopped by.  Looked like Bill Mitchell had company and Larry and Marge were resting so we didn’t wake them.  Sympathy to the family.

While at Gordon’s, Zelda received a call that Mary Jo Burkhart died.

Have a good weekend.  Attend church somewhere.  God loves you.
