Lakota came by last Monday afternoon for a while and later on I went early to my O.E.S. meeting and took my news to the paper and eggs to Donna. This was our last meeting for the summer.
Tom and Mary Martha Williams and Hellen Blakey went to West Plains to an O.E.S. meeting last Tuesday and helped them Initiate a man into their chapter.
Lakota has been over a few times this week and it seems like old times.
I took some of my cans and plastic bottles off Thursday and I took Darlene Lister her eggs while in town. That evening Violet came by and picked up her eggs.
Nina Carter came by Friday evening and helped me with some paper work and while she was here Jewell came and picked up her birthday cake and card. Her birthday was the day before and I took John and Jo Stephens a cake and card the day before for their anniversary.
Friday night I received .1/2 of an inch of rain, Saturday .3 of an inch of rain and by five that evening and Sunday I got .1/4 of an inch of rain.
Lets keep those prayers going for our sick folks because the one that was operated on is doing just fine, but I know two more that will be operated on this week, so we can’t stop. And the ones that are home still need a little help.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
