HomePride Bank announced this week that Ava native Bart Ellison has been hired as Senior Vice President to open a new bank facility in Ava, Mo. HomePride Bank was established in Mansfield in 1892 and has been serving the area for more than 120 years.
Ellison, son of Jerry and Corrine Ellison, is a native of Ava and enjoys living on his beef cattle farm in Douglas County. Bart and wife Melanie have two children, Paige and Thomas. Ellison graduated from Ava High School in 1998, and obtained a Business Administration degree from Drury University in 2002. He earned an MBA from Drury University in 2004.
Ellison has over 13 years of banking experience, and spent the last four years serving the Ava community. He specializes in commercial and real estate loans.
“I am excited about the opportunity to bring HomePride Bank to the community,” says Ellison. “It has been a joy serving Ava with banking services and I look forward to continuing exceptional customer service and meeting the banking needs of people in Douglas County.”
Construction will soon be underway for the new Ava facility to be located at the former Highway House Café site. However, during the building of the Ava branch, Ellison will temporarily office from the HomePride Bank Mansfield facility, but he readily noted “I will gladly come to your place of business to address your banking needs.”
HomePride Bank is family owned and operated, and maintains a deep personal commitment to the satisfaction of every customer.
HomePride Bank currently has four offices located in Mansfield, Seymour, Fordland and Norwood.
