Don't Miss

Caney Church

We came together Wednesday evening at Caney singing praises to the Lord. Wyatt Isaac, a 14 year-old young man brought our lesson. His scripture was Luke 8:22-40. He told the scriptures in his own words. He explained how no matter what we do, if we want we can find the Lord. Everyone was thrilled to have a young man stand for the Lord. We ask that you help us pray for him that he will stay true to the Lord. Olivia Rogers sang a special for us.

On this beautiful day Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports were received. Bro. Hi Lambeth led us in prayer. Jack read Psalms 15 for our devotion. After a great Sunday school lesson Happy Birthday was sung to Riley Isaac. God bless him. Maddie Shipley sang while offering was received.

Praise and Worship began with testimonies from Jeff Shipley, Melba Austin, Jack Essary and Tracy Shipley. We continued with congregational singing. Singing special music was Ethel Metcalf and Melissa Harmon. Pastor Bill Austin brought the morning message from Matthew 23:29-39, Hebrews 4:1-2, 9-12 and Amos 4:9-11. Are we under the protection for the Lord? Are we trying to live like we love the Lord? Do not turn away from the Lord. Serve Him all your life. God will bless. Today the Lord is trying to get our attention with storms, fires, natural disasters. We need to wake up and turn back to the Lord. A message from God.

We will have a missionary with us next Sunday from Project Hope.

Evening service opened with song. Bro. Jeff Shipley took prayer requests. Sis. Lyla Roberts prayed opening prayer. Testimonies were given by Bro. Hi Lambeth and Sis. Lyla Roberts, Bro. Bill Austin and Sis. Melba Austin.

Evening message was brought by Bro. Jack Essary from II Timothy 4:1-7 and verse 18. Bro. Bill brought service to a close and asked Bro. Jess Shipley to close service in prayer.
