Black Oak Church

“Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised,” Proverbs 31:30.

Pastor David opened Sunday school after we sang. He read John 10:1-10 for the devotion then dismissed us to class. We sang Happy Birthday to Lois Graham. We wish her many more and God’s greatest blessings. Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offerings. Liviya Wharton, Macee Breeding and Quin Breeding did the penny march for Camp Piland. We would love for you to help us pray for Jennifer Downs, Betty Satterfield and family, the Turley family, Wilma Sanders, Roy Frye, Wanda Goss and granddaughter, Howard Strong, John Little, military, country and leaders, unsaved, unspoken, law enforcement, all bereaved, and each other.

We honored all the ladies of the church with a small gift. Angie Turley, Betty Satterfield and Zamber Little won the big gifts.

Pastor David sang then preached from Timothy on how mothers are an important example to their children.

We dismissed our services Sunday evening so families could celebrate Mother’s Day.

May God bless you all this week. Remember to include God in all you do.
