Ken Cederlind came down Friday evening and got Bonnie Phipps and took her back up with him to surprise his wife, Debbie, when she got home. Bonnie stayed with them until Sunday and they brought her home and stayed until Monday and went back home. Kristie and Lakota came by early last Monday morning, I took my news and eggs into town that morning, but I went by Ruth Shumate’s and took her a birthday card and a gift, but she wasn’t home so I left it on her door knob.

I went to my O.E.S. meeting that evening.

Justin and Tara Coonce gave Jett a birthday part last Tuesday night for his big third birthday. Those present were Woodie Coonce. Bub and Lorie Coonce and Brett, James and Kristie Blakey and Lakota, Kendra Dering, Trae Shelton, Hellen Blakey, Justin, Tara and Jett.

Tara had barbeque, hot dogs, potato salad, pork and beans, and chips. Then Jett opened his presents and the cake ice cream were served.

Darlene Lister came and picked up her eggs Wednesday. Jett took sick so he came and stayed with me. James stopped by on his way to the ballgame.

Shirley Jessen stopped and picked up some eggs Thursday and then Jett came back because he wasn’t over his sickness.

I received one inch of rain by 10 p.m. Friday night. I guess I took a little of what Jett had.

Saturday I went and got some flowers, but it started raining so I went to town and got groceries, medicine and picked my pictures up at Wal-Mart and came on home.

Nina Carter came by that evening and picked up my Sunday school book for my class and some other things for the girls because I didn’t want to take what I had down to them. I feel some better, but no quite up to par.

Lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers because they are lots out there.

My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.

Don’t forget the Blakey Reunion which will be June 7th, behind Town & Country.

Mark, Sherry and Mark Weston came by Monday morning and said they had just came from the Spring Creek Cemetery so at 10:40 I went to the Ava Cemetery for the service there and put flowers on Jake and Joyce and a flag, and a flower on Faye Jessen’s grave. Then I headed for Arno and I saw the former Ruth (Caudill). When I left there I went to Mt. Tabor, then on to Spring Creek where there was lots of graves there to put flowers on and before I left Grant Haden  and family came up where I was and talked. Then I went on to the Fannon Cemetery where I put flowers on Landon Fleetwood’s, Bob and Charlette Dover’s and Margaret Plumb’s graves. I was then ready to come home and rest, but I had to take a shower to get all the dust off so I could rest.
