I got up early last Monday and cooked dessert for the Carl Clements families after the funeral at Mt. Tabor Church. I received 1.2 of an inch in my rain gauge last Tuesday by 8 a.m. and then .1 more by 10 that night. Wednesday I received .4 that morning.
Last Tuesday I took my news and eggs in and filled up with gas.
Violet Blakey came and got her eggs Wednesday.
Thursday I took eggs to the courthouse ladies then took some hens and chickens to Sally Prock before going on to have my hair cut.
Friday was Senior Awards Assembly so I went over and presented the Michael Blakey Math Scholarship to Emily Armour. After I got home Jewell Elliott stopped and picked up some bread. Charlotte Bock brought me some cucumber plants over Saturday afternoon. Carol Moore brought me the papers for me to take with me to Mountain Grove to the Past Matron and Past Patron meeting. When I got to the Sunny Side Café I was the only one there until Janet Lang and Michiko Youmans came and we ate and no one else came so so we didn’t have the meeting, but we scheduled our next meeting for July 19 so please come. Janet told me that our Grand Worthy Matron, Marge Carney, had passed away that day. When I got back to Ava I went by to see Tom and Mary Martha and take her a get-well card from the Past Matron and Past Patron and to see if she had heard about Marge Carney, and they had.
Sunday after church I went over to the nursing home and took two vases of flowers, one to Roxie Heimeyer and a birthday card and the other one to Mae Cox and a get-well card.

Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
