Bonnie Phipps said she didn’t make it to church Sunday, but Cecilia Edwards came by and she had Sydnee and Alexis Freeman with her because Wendee Freeman and Madison had gone up to Warrensburg, MO.
The wind hit down town early last Monday morning and tore up lots of things.
I took my car into town last Tuesday morning to see what was going on and I took my news and some surprise lily bulbs to the Senior Citizens and gave them to them to make money. Then I took eggs to Wally and Shirley Jessen then I dropped by Mike and Charlotte’s before I came on home.
I took my car back to Kutz Car Clinic Wednesday morning and Mark brought me back home.
Mark came Thursday morning after he dropped Mark Weston off at school and took me over to get my car then later on I took eggs to the courthouse ladies and I went by Mary Martha Williams then over to Carol Moore’s where I stayed and ate dinner with her and visited with her.
I went to town Friday and paid some bills. That evening Ellis came by and gave me some fish and ate supper with me then Mike and Charlotte dropped a tomato plant off for me. I set my tomato plants and cucumber plants out Saturday and Violet came in and picked up her eggs.
Jo Stephens and I attended the program at the Cross Point Church that night.
Sunday after church Jo and I went to the nursing home and visited with some of the people there. When I got home Monica and Joel was there and I gave her some of my surprise lily bulbs to take and set out.
I rode with Martin Hathcock to church Sunday night to our business meeting and then Bible Study. Those present were Martin Hathcock, Nina Carter, Jewell Elliott, Kay Hutchison and Hellen Blakey.
Lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers, some have been answered, but there are lots that are still sick.
My prayers and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
