The Praise Team led us with beautiful songs of praise.
Brother Roberts issued a challenge for the 24 hour plunge and Brother Roberts was challenged by Brad to the plunge.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Hebrews 3:12-13, Jude 1:20, “Encouragement-part two.”
A lady in our church sure encouraged me on Sunday by handing me a Thinking of You with a hand written note inside.
Delmar and I have been blessed this week with company. Those visiting us this week were Howard and Donna Morris from Leeton, Mo., Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, Kim Cordray from New Mexico, Donna Bannnister, Beth Stafford, Johnathon Snelson, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Barb and Jack Breshears.
I visited by phone with Wanda Andrews in Texas, Aunt Violet Morris in Clinton, Mo. and Tammy Bence in San Bernadino, California.
On Saturday, we joined Howard and Donna Morris, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Kim Cordray and Vern and Kathleen Deatherage at their cabin for a delicious beans, biscuits, fried taters and raisin pie lunch, all cooked on the old wood cookstove. It was delicious and we all ate too much.
We sure are enjoying the warmer weather and see signs everywhere that Spring is here.
I was surprised on Monday to receive my cell phone, I had lost almost a year ago in the flood, and the memory card with all my pictures was still good so I now have them on my computer. God is good.
Until next week, I challenge each one who reads these items, to encourage someone this week.
