The Lord is good isn’t he? We need rain he sends rain.
We were very blessed to have a young family as our guests and two beautiful little girls to brighten up our Palm Sunday morning.
Our Sunday morning message was a new look at the story of the Triumphal Entry of Christ to Jerusalem. We looked at that subject with a contrasting view of what Christ did and what the crowd did. We saw his resolute fulfillment of prophecy, and his unswerving dedication to the will of the father. While the crowd mentality swung from adulation to apathy in such a short time.
Our evening message was about the Covenant into which we enter with God the Father through God the Son.
We will have Youth Night again, Monday at 6:30, if you are a teen and you would like to come, all you have to do is show up, there is always room for one more. Truth be told, we have room for several one mores’, so come on down, we’ll have a great time and you can make some new friends.
We have an ongoing Sword Drill competition, it’s not too late for you to join in, especially if you are very familiar with your Bible.
We are also in the process of organizing some fund raisers and believe it or not we intend to have fun doing that as well. It’s hard not to have fun when you have a bunch of energetic teens, coming together to praise the Lord and fellowship with one another. I know I’ve said it before, but you really should’ve been there, come this week and see what you’ve been missing.
This Wednesday evening the 16th is our monthly business meeting, and Thursday the 17th we will have communion and foot-washing service.
Come and be our guest, and may God richly bless you is our prayer.
