We are blessed to have another chance to attend the church of our choice. Our country is free. We have the privilege of deciding where we want to go, when we want to go and even, if we just plain don’t want to go! But, remember, Jesus didn’t say, well, maybe I’ll just wait awhile before I give my life on the cross for a bunch of sinners. I just don’t much feel like it today. He went ahead; he died on the cross, because he loved us that much. And here is the rest of the story. On the third day, He arose. He’s alive. That is why we celebrate Easter. That’s why lots of churches have sunrise services. That’s why Easter is my most favorite Sunday of the year. So when you are thinking about whether or not to go to church this Sunday, just stop and think, what if Jesus had chosen not to die for us? Show him your love and support. He already showed how much he loves you. Go to give Him thanks. Go to worship and sing praise. You will be blessed.
We will be having a Sunrise Service at Mt. Olive, April 20th, starting at 6:30. Breakfast will be served afterwards. We invite you all to come celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with us. We invite you to come worship with us this Sunday too. Brother Ray Dobbs will be the speaker at our morning worship hour.
Have a safe and blessed week and remember, “Be more concerned with what God thinks about you than what people think about you.” Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, “We ought to obey God rather than men,” Acts 5:29.
