Black Oak Church

“And Jesus answered them, saying the hour is come, that the Son of Man should be glorified,” John 12:23.

Pastor David opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Hebrews 7:11-19 for the devotion then dismissed us to class. We pray Brother Roy Frye will be back soon.

The children talked about Palm Sunday.

Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offering.

Zoe Shull, Macee and Quin Breeding did the penny march for Camp Piland. We appreciate all our helpers.

Please pray for Roy Frye, Wilma Sanders, Wanda Goss and her granddaughter and baby, Turley family, Betty Satterfield and family, Howard Strong, Dana Brazeal, John Little, unspoken, unsaved, military, country and leaders, bereaved, law enforcement and each other.

Sister Dara Strong sang a special for us. We had good testimonies. Pastor David sang then preached from Luke a very good message from God.

We enjoyed a bountiful Thanksgving, Christmas, Valentine, Easter lunch. The weather did not cooperate this winter so we combined them all. God is so good to us. We truly enjoyed the wonderful lunch and the good fellowship of our Christian brothers and sisters. We dismissed our evening service.

We will have an egg hunt right after morning worship Easter Sunday. Our evening service is dismissed.

Please go to church to worship Jesus Easter Sunday. He died for us.

May God bless you all.
