Black Oak Church

“Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,” I Peter 5:8.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Mark 10:46-52 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.

Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offering.

Quin Breeding did the Penny March for Piland Youth Camp.

We had several out sick or traveling. Please pray for Wilma Sanders who will have surgery on Wednesday. Also pray for the Turley family, Dana Brazeal, Fanya Scott, Dara Strong, Liviya Wharton, Betty Satterfield, our church families, unsaved, unspoken, John Little on the loss of his father, the Orcutt family, Burl Miller family and all other bereaved. Please pray for our country and leaders, military and law enforcement and each other.

Pastor David sang then preached God’s message from Revelation 9.

March birthdays are Preston Adams and Macee Breeding who will both turn seven. May God bless them with many more.

Sunday evening service began with singing. Pastor David sang then preached from Micah 7:18-20. Love, mercy and grace are given to us when we make mistakes if we only repent and ask. A very good message.

It was so good to be back in church with our church family. They give us strength and encouragement.

May God bless you all.
