Don't Miss

Bonnie Phipps and Cecilia Edwards got out this pretty Sunday and went to church.

Bonnie Phipps, Cecilia Edwards, Lonnie and Pamela Crim, Logan, Alexia and Paola, Michael, Wendee Freeman, Matt, Madison, Sydnee and Alexis all went out to Roy and Linda Sue Freeman’s and visited the rest of the day.

Bonnie said she had received a call telling her that Margie Phipps had passed away and then she told me that Robert Lee Mathes has lost his wife, Cathy, some time back.

Well here goes I measured three inches of snow last Monday and I am not sure how much sleet I got, but when I melted what I had in my rain gauge I had .8 of an inch of liquid, but I don’t know if all the snow got in it because it was up at the top of the rain gauge. Saturday by 10 p.m. the old time I had .3 of an inch in my rain gauge.

Ellis came by last Monday and took one of my bills in and paid it for me.

I got out last Tuesday and took my news and eggs in and got some medicine, groceries and then went to Wal-Mart and finished getting the rest of my stuff before going home.

Kristie came by that evening and brought Lakota’s quilt so Violet Blakey could see it.

I took some eggs into the courthouse Thursday and then I went over to the funeral home to sign the book for Burl Miller. Violet Blakey came by that evening and looked at the quilt and picked up her eggs before going on into town. Nina Carter came that evening and picked me up and we went to the Stained Glass Theatre and met her friend, Roxanna, Monica Reemes, Mike and Anette Ray and then after it was over my niece, Brenda Henslee came and got some eggs I took up there for my sister. The name of the play was A Place Called Eden and it was sure good. If you have a chance to go see it you will like it. The play goes through April 5th.

Carol Moore and Hellen Blakey attended the Past Matron and Past Patron meeting in Mtn. Grove and it rained on us going and coming. There was nine Star Members there.

Sunday I went with Tom Williams to Cox Hospital to see Mary Martha and my granddaughter, Annie Blakey, hoping she would have her baby. I came home with Ellis Blakey.

Keep praying for our sick folks, the list keeps getting longer. My prayers and sympathy goes out to the Burl Miller famiy and all the others who have lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and the men and the women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.

At the end of my news last week a few words got left out and it didn’t make sense so here goes.

Sunday we had to cancel our church at Mt. Tabor and lots of the other churches did too because of sleet and snow.

I don’t know how much we got because I didn’t go outside.

Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers.

My prayers and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
