Children’s Church with Sandy Housley.

I guess we will have 6 more weeks of winter, since the ground hog saw his shadow.  Bro. Rick plans a ground hog hunting trip soon, I think.

Today’s message by Bro. Rick:  Book of Acts 8:26.  “God puts you and me in the path of another person to help them.  Everyone should deliver God’s message if called to do so, and be ready if God calls”.  Bro. Rick told about meeting a man on a hunting trip who was dying of cancer.  The man was told he had until May to live.  Bro. Rick had planned a leisurely hunting trip, and this man was placed in his path so the man had someone to talk to.  Bro. Rick prayed for the right moment and the right words. He got the opportunity to witness to the man.  The man admitted that he hoped he was forgiven, and that he was ashamed of his life.  Bro. Rick had the opportunity to share scriptures, and he is praying that the man will ask God for what he needs to be saved.  We must always do our best, and we must be prepared.  We know we need to do something, Bro. Rick said, when we receive a burden for another person.  That is the time to pray and seek God’s help.

Questions:  Bro. Rick Batten 683-5657 or 250-0918.  Visitors always welcome.  We will make you feel part of a great church family.
