Red Bud Village

A good morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope everyone had a good week and not much damage from the wind storm we had on Thursday afternoon. We had roof damage to several of our buildings. Some excitement for a while as a lot of things blowing here and there. I think we got most things back in place where they belonged.

Also we had our monthly dinner that day with thirteen residents signing our guest book along with nine guests that signed. We had a great meal fixed by the residents.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We send greetings to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.

This news from the desk of Ken and Charlotte Willis. They enjoyed having their family on Sunday after church to celebrate Ken’s 73rd birthday. They had dinner, dessert and birthday cake with friends stopping by to visit. Also several phone calls from friends and family.

Visitors of Norma the past week have been Jacob, Naomi, Amy Watkins and Peggy Greene. Amy and Jacob on Wednesday, Naomi, Jacob and Peggy on Saturday afternoon. On Monday night I “Norma” attended the Jam Session at the Senior Citizens. We had a good program. Monday afternoon I “Norma” attended the funeral for Dale Thomas at Clinkingbeard Chapel.

Have a good week and stay safe, healthy and warm as we are to have some more cold weather.

Until next week, Jesus loves you.
