A beautiful Sabbath Day, as we began our morning with updates on those on our prayer list. We have many who need prayers and a special touch from God. Continue to remember each of these. We are thankful for those who are beginning to make progress toward better health.
Brother Ric read John 6:35, “I am the bread of life”. This is such a good thought, as we consider how important this “bread” is to our spiritual life.
Floyd and Bonita Winingham arrived at the home of her parents, Tom and Jewell Elliott, Saturday evening, to stay until Wednesday. Those coming to visit during this time were, Lloyd Tate, James and Tammy Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Elliott, MaKayla and Logan, Carla Hearod, Fred and Connie Bacorn, Ric Englehardt, and Martin Hathcock.
Visitors with Martin Hathcock this past week were Jim Sallee and granddaughter, and Ronda Soto.
Kay Hutchison attended a Piland Youth Camp Board meeting, Saturday, at Oak Grove Church.
Martin Hathcock was one of many family, friends and other relatives to attend a birthday dinner for Larry Clayton, after church, Sunday.
Danny, Kim, Morgan and Dylan Clements visited Harold and Kay Hutchison, Friday evening.
Kay Hutchison visited Opal Singleton, Saturday evening. The Singletons and the Pools were longtime friends, and the children all attended school together. Daughter, Shirley Smith, was there caring for her mother.
