Opening prayer to start our morning service was by Joie Welker.

In our Sunday school class the lesson was about being faithful and a believing Christian by doing good deeds and helping others.

Happy Birthday wishes went out to Pastor Keith Lafferty.

Saturday night was our Valentine Banquet at the church and the men did the cooking for a large breakfast spread. It made the ladies proud and good fellowship was had by all.

Charlie Miller is showing improvement after having a bad bout with bronchitis.

Dylan Miller received a gift after graduating from Children’s Church, the kids grow up so fast.

Remember our Bible Study on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. We are showing the videos and then having discussions. Please come and join us.

Our third Friday night singing is Feb. 21st at 7 p.m. Bring snacks for afterwards.

Our special songs were by the Gentry Quartet made up of Narvil Tetrick, Wendell Deo, Joie and Rod Welker and one by Keith and Regina Lafferty.

Pastor Keith’s message was from John 5:18. Whosoever is born of God sinneth not because we know we are of God, and have a personal responsibilty to stay close to him. Look to the only true one, Jesus. We are his children.

In our evening service after singing we had a special song by Sue and Ronnie Thomas and also quartet of Keith and Regina Lafferty, Sue and Ronnie Thomas.

The Fourth Sunday Singing is Feb. 23rd at Sweden Church at 2 p.m.

Pastor Keith’s evening message was from Philippians 4:11. Be content with what we have whatever state we are in. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
