Black Oak Church

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity,” I Corinthians 13:13.

Charity means love.

Hope everyone had a good Valentine’s Day.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Luke 7:1-10 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.

We sang Happy Birthday to me and Sister Shirley Riley. Bless you, Shirley and Lois for my cards.

Other February Birthdays are Reece Adams, John Little, Reece Goforth, Jacob Strong, Hope Harvill and Lauren Mendel. May God bless you all.

Pastor David sang then preached from Revelations 6.

We had good testimonies.

Please pray for Sister Betty Satterfield, Wilma Sanders, The Turley family, Wanda Goss and family, special unspoken, unsaved, country and leaders, military, Dana, Dara, John and Zamber and families and each other.

Quin Breeding, Bryse Dodson and Macee Breeding took up the tithes and offering.

Sunday evening Pastor David sang then preached God’s message from Colossians 3:18-25. It was a very good message.

It sure was good to be back in church with our church family. We draw strength and love from each other through the sweet Holy Spirit that lives in our heart. I feel so loved and blessed by God and His Son, My Savior Jesus Christ. I pray you all find Him too.
