Troop G Releases C.A.R.E. Holiday Totals

Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer, Troop G, Willow Springs, announces the following traffic totals for the Operation C.A.R.E. (Combined Accident Reduction Effort) Life Savers Weekend:
Troop G reported one fatal traffic crash, investigated four alcohol-related traffic crashes, and investigated 23 traffic crashes on C.A.R.E. designated highways.
Troopers made four DWI arrests, seven drug arrests, 72 other arrests, and issued 78 citations for speed, 38 seat belt citations, and two child restraint citations.  Additionally, officers issued 238 warnings and provided 117 motorist assists.
Captain Isringhausen says, “Please be careful as you travel Missouri’s roadways.  Get plenty of rest, don’t drink and drive, always wear your seat belt, and pay close attention to the task of driving.”
