Shirley A. Kaiser, 84

Shirley Anne (Wagner) Kaiser, of Dixon, was born on Jan. 1, 1930, in St. Louis, the daughter of William Elmer Wagner Jr. and Gertrude Irene (Dwyer) Wagner.
She departed this life at 5:15 a.m., Thursday morning, Jan. 16, 2014 in Westphalia Hills Stonebridge Community Nursing Center, Westphalia.
Mrs. Kaiser was in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 84 years, 15 days.
Mrs. Kaiser was united in marriage on Oct. 16, 1950, in University City, to Robert “Bob” Eugene Kaiser, and to this union four daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 22, 1962; her parents; one brother, William “Bill” Elmer Wagner III; one grandchild, Charlotte McCubbins; and one step-great-grandson, Jamey McCubbins.
Those left to morn her passing include her four daughters and sons-in-law: Roberta (Bob) Long of Ava, Kathy (Gary) Bivins of Pecatonica, III., Nancy (Dan) Schmitz of Westphalia, and Sally (Wayne) Schneider of Linn; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Cremation was under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral home of Iberia.
A private family service was held Jan. 18.
