Bro. Rick announced how great it was to see everyone back in church.  We had Kaye and Gary Garrison back, Bernice Price, Phyllis Virtue, and many others who had been out.  Bro. Rick said it was a benefit being here for us also.  He preached from Mark 5: 21-34.  Mark 5:35, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole, go in peace, and be whole of thy plague”.  He told us that trouble will just be part of life- we will have physical, emotional and spiritual troubles.  We say things that we don’t mean; we hurt others by what we say and do; we have trouble in the work place; we have physical trouble with our bodies, etc.  The one thing we can do something about is our spiritual and soul troubles. We can get saved and seek Jesus.  He explained that the lady in the Bible had had physical problems for 12 years.  She had sought the help of doctors, and spent all she had.  Doctors could not help her.  When she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, she was immediately healed.  That day everything changed in her life.  We must be willing to do the same thing- seek out Jesus and ask him to take care of our troubles.  He loves each one of us; every person in the church matters to him.  Rick Batten 683-5657 or 250-0918.  Invite a friend to upcoming events. Visitors are always welcome.
