Jerry Lester Ghramm, 76

Pauline Fay Hargis, 93 years, 10 months, and 14 days old, passed to heaven on Dec. 30, 2013 at James River Care Center.
Pauline was born Feb. 16, 1920 in Squires, Mo., to James Wesley Nash and Beulah Mae (Whitacre) Nash.
Pauline was a resident of Springfield, Mo.
On Feb. 17, 1938 Pauline and William Earl Hargis were united in marriage in Toledo, Mo. (Ozark County) and to this union three children were born.
Pauline was a Christian and a member of the General Baptist Church.
She enjoyed life and had great love for all friends and family. She tried to live her life as a faithful servant to the Lord. She had a beautiful singing voice and remembered all the words to the hymns she had ever sung, and joined in on the Sunday services at the nursing home.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and infant daughter.
Pauline is survived by two children and their spouses, William Curtis and Johnelle Hargis, Springfield, Mo., and Earline and Paul Dixon, Fayetteville, Ark.; grandchildren, Kendell Hargis Waltz, Katherine Hargis, Jim Poulsom and Jon Poulsom; and several  great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her most precious toy French poodle, Penny, whose picture she lovingly spoke to everyday. And to all the wonderful care givers at James River Care, you were loved.
Funeral services for Pauline will be Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, 2 p.m.,                  in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo., with burial  in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before services in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Greene County Humane Society.
