Bonnie Phipps  said she got out and went to church Sunday morning and that she had been in all week and it was good to be out.

Last Monday when I went out to measure the snow I couldn’t because the wind had blew it so much and I couldn’t get a good measurement so I got my rain gauge and melted the snow in it and I had .7 liquid so that meant that I got 7 inches of snow. Thursday I melted the snow, sleet and rain in my gauge and I had .1 liquid. Friday by 5 p.m. I had .8 of rain in my gauge and then Saturday I poured out .3 more which came about 6:30 Friday evening.

No one made it out last Monday to O.E.S. because of the weather so we will have our D.D.G.M. visit our chapter Monday, January 20th so all you members be sure to be there. We are having practice on Sunday at 2 p.m.

I got out last Tuesday and shoveled the snow out to my car then I cleaned the snow off of it, but the door wouldn’t come open. I went back out there about two and it opened for me so I took my news in and went by the drug store then I stopped by Justin Coonce and Jett’s, Sally Prock’s and then when I started home I went by John and Jo Stephens’.

Tara brought Jett over Thursday. It sure was good to see him. James and Lakota came that afternoon and James took Jett outside and pulled him on the sled for awhile.

I had Jett again Friday and that evening Laura Stillings stopped on her way home and picked up her eggs.

Carol Moore and Hellen Blakey went to the Past Matron and Past Patron meeting in Mountain Grove at the Sunny Side Café Saturday night and there were 12 members and one child. We elected new officers for this year.

When I left for church Sunday the wind wasn’t blowing, but when I got down to the church I had a new hair do because the wind sure was blowing.

Keep those prayers going for all our sick folks.

My sympathy and prayers goes out to all who have lost a loved one, a special one for Lisa Engelhardt who has lost a step-father and an uncle all in the same week.

Keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in your prayers.
