December weather is cool and it demands our keeping our fires going, more wood, if we have wood heaters, and propane tanks filled, electric heat turned up.
For those chopping wood will be a labor of love to keep warm.
The queen size quilt at Lilly Ridge Church netted a good amount to help with the kitchen project and drawing was Sunday evening after services.
Jerry Miller attended the Church of Christ Sunday dinner and in the afternoon visited a neighbor, Lillian Barton, who is having therapy at Gainesville Health Care.
Over deer season Jerry’s nephews were with her two weeks. They were from Louisana and the Gulf Coast.
The Lilly Ridge Christmas program will be Sunday night, December 8th at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited.
By the calendar winter begins December 21st.

The decorationg committee at Lilly Ridge Church was busy Monday morning working at Christmas decorations for everyone to enjoy.
Best wishes to Helen Conardy who has had cataract surgery in October and is having her other eye taken care of Tuesday of this week in Springfield.

Jonathan Aronis, my nephew, stopped by to visit last week on his way to make parts deliveries in Mountain Home and Harrison, AR.
Visiting at Larry and Christy Davis home at Dora on Thanksgiving day were Dave and Karen Davis, Lisa Keller, Tara Miller and sons, Gabe and Jayden. They came by in the afternoon to visit me and bring me a plate of food which I enjoyed later.
